Following the initial injection of the system, CAVTECT
Australia recommends yearly inspections as per the current
Australian Standard 3660.1.
The main purpose of the yearly inspection
is to make sure that the chemical barrier has not
been breached. The most common breaches that occur
are with the placement of gardens and the laying of
paths and paving next to the structure.
Re-treatment of the structure is carried out by injecting
the system at intervals as specified by the Australian
Pesticides and Vetrinary Medicines Association on
the label for the chemical used. |
